Brain Entrainment Review - The Unexplainable Store

There's no doubt about it - after years of shopping around for brain entrainment products, The Unexplainable Store has revealed itself to be one of the prime sources of a high quality isochronic, monaural, and binaural beats download. This brain entrainment review will lay out all the reasons why I believe this is so.

With a minimal amount of knowledge on brain entrainment theory, it is relatively simple for companies to market their own products within the field. But what sets The Unexplainable Store apart from many others is the sparkling production quality which they utilise in their recordings. It's like the crystalline, atmospheric wanderings of Brian Eno and Phil Thornton, as opposed to the roughly produced, robot-like recording of a basement dwelling techno band with no budget.

Having no production skills myself, I set upon the task of creating my own binaural beats, and while I found it easy to create the illusory 'third beat' through the process of 'frequencial differentiation', and the utilisation of Oster's chart of 'carrier' frequencies, I still found it hard to make the final product presentable in terms of sound quality. It does the job to a certain extent, but it sounds muddy and undefined, like the aforementioned techno band.

The audio-wizards from the Unexplainable Store however, cut out the unnecessary noise which hogs the frequency spectrum, and 'bottle-neck' the tone, increasing the effectiveness of the 'frequency following response' (the process by which the brain syncs itself to the beat). This is especially important when combining many layers of sound around the beat, such as atmospheric synthesisers, chimes, chants, bells, hypnotic voice-inductions, scripts etc. Each element has its own 'space' within the audio spectrum, thus increasing levels of immersion and receptivity to the beat.

Considering their high production standards, the prices are very reasonable, and with each product, they provide instructions on how to best utilise the MP3. If you are unfamiliar with entrainment, you can even try out their free samples; available in three different sessions: binaural, monaural and isochronic.

There are many sessions to choose from, and these are helpfully divided into categories. These include therapy, brain function, self improvement and spiritual development. This product diversity ensures that no-matter your psychological make-up, you are bound to find something which can benefit you.

My first experience with entrainment was with the isochronic-tone version of the 'Sleep Package'. This did wonders in helping me overcome my nightly bouts of insomnia. Over time, my brain would come to 'anchor' the memory of the experience, eliminating the need for the tones. I haven't had any trouble since, but the MP3s still come in handy for afternoon naps and regenerative sleep.
Another product I found helpful was the study-aid. Operating in a frequency of Theta (approximately 7hz per second), this mp3 improves focus, and assists you in retaining large amounts of information. If you are a student, you are probably aware of the inertia which takes hold when trying to motivate yourself to study. Well not only does the study aid make the task bearable, it also makes it enjoyable.

While brain entrainment is still in its infancy in terms of commercial acceptance, it has, since 2008, experienced a dramatic increase in popularity amongst new age-circles and self-help enthusiasts on the internet. One of the organisations at the heart of this shift has been The Unexplainable Store. If brain entrainment peaks your interest, this should be your first stop.

My Approach to Learning Tasks

Different learners have different needs; they differ from, example, in their learning goals, their prior knowledge, their learning styles, and their cognitive abilities. Since I have never dismantled a gearbox before, research is a must. Browsing through the internet will be helpful to find user manuals or any information such as video tutorials. Further information can also be gained from a professional mechanic. Theorizing is important because it gives solution to questions. With the aid of the theory, one can put theory to practise, by gathering all information together and apply it to dismantle the gearbox. Experimenting and experiencing, begins.

While experiencing, reflection and revising the information can be essential to complete the new task. This is how, I would proceed to learn a new task. Next time, after this first trial, I may have a simpler and a less time consuming method to redo this task. Kolb's learning theory sets out four distinct learning styles, which are based on a four stage learning cycle. In this respect Kolb's model is particularly elegant, since it offers both a way to understand individual people's different learning cycles and also an explanation of a cycle learning which applies to all of us. The principle of Kolb's learning cycle consists of the following four stages of learning.
Assimilating is a combination of Abstract Conceptualization and Reflective Observation.

- means that people first like to think and watch.
Diverging is a combination of Concrete Experience and Reflective Observation.
- means that people first like to feel and watch.
Converging is a combination of Abstract Conceptualization and Active Experimentation.
- means that people first like to do that particular thing and then think about it.
Accommodating is a combination of Concrete Experience and Active Experimentation.
- means that people first like to do that particular thing and then to feel.

I prefer thinking than to act. Reading with demonstrations if possible, is preferable for learning. I respect the knowledge of experts. In my opinion, listening to logical and thoughtful conversation is a good way to learn. Carrying out plans and participating in new and challenging experiences with others, is delectable. Furthermore, learning model styles do exist such as; Felder-Silverman learning style, Honey and Mumford's Model and Anthony Gregorc's Model. These models are similar and based on each other.

Engineering failure is considered as an engineering disaster. For example collapse of bridges, rail accidents, airplanes and so on. Primary causes behind this, are human factors, design flaws, material flaws, extreme conditions or environments and combination of these reasons. From these incidents, engineers need to first investigate the causing factors behind the incident and then learn from them. The following procedures, such as identification and response, reporting, investigation, identifying casual structure, making recommendations, communicating and recalling incident learning, and implementing corrective actions, should be made.Part of the learning process is to recall previous incidents and to visualize possible failure modes that have not yet occurred to prevent engineering failure.

3 Steps to Start Living

Every time you ever have a problem, look inside yourself. What's really bothering you, what is really on your mind?
Through years of experience I've learned that the overall problem that is stunting you from your long term growth and happiness is often from your past. Find out what that certain little something is, because chances are its not so little. Once you have figured out exactly what it is that is blocking you from your future success, figure out ways to overcome it.
#1 Feeling Guilt- If you feel guilty of something from your past, forgive yourself. This won't be easy, but you have to confront the person in your life that you are sorry to. Tell them why you feel guilt, why you did what it is your feeling guilty for, and why exactly your sorry for it. Once you talk about the underlying pains from your past, you then can begin to forgive yourself and start anew. This is especially hard task to undertake for some individuals because they are afraid of rejection. More often then not they feel that the person they've wronged in their life isn't going to forgive them, this usually isn't the case. Even so, those who do have to deal with the rejection aspect of it shouldn't be hurt by the circumstance. At that point, you've done all that you could do to get it off your chest and can begin to forgive yourself which is the most important part.
#2 Someone Wronged You- If it is someone that has hurt you in the past, forgive them because they are human too and everyone makes mistakes. Remember to love everyone as you love yourself, because if you don't there will inevitably be someone hurt just as you were.
#3 Changing Your World- The negative cycle ends with you. You may believe that your insignificant in the scheme of things but just imagine what you can do with something as simple as just one smile. It seems small and insignificant, but putting out just that little bit of positivity into someones day, even a stranger, can make their whole day brighter. Bright enough for them to effect someone else's day with, say, a small gesture. When you put out positivity, big or small, it spirals onward. So go ahead. Try it out. I guarantee you won't be sorry you did. Things will start to look up in a whole new way, you'll feel better moods and see things about your life and yourself that you hadn't before. Discover yourself in a whole new way and start living the life you've always dreamed of.

Becoming the You That You Always Wanted to Be

Most people have at least something about themselves that they wish they could change. It can be something small or something major, encompassing everything from eliminating personality quirks and building self-confidence to losing weight or developing a new outlook on life. Even small changes can seem like major commitments if you aren't prepared to make a change, however. If you really want to bring about a change in your life and become the person that you really want to be then taking that first step may very well be the hardest part of the process.
To make a change in your life the first thing that you must do is figure out exactly what sort of a change needs to be made. This can involve major introspection to determine exactly what the cause of the problem is and may require you to admit flaws that you aren't entirely comfortable with addressing. Only by recognizing the true core of the problem can you begin to work on a solution to it. Once you've identified exactly what needs to change in your life, decide exactly what you want the end result of the change to be. This will be the goal that you're working toward and is what every intermediate step you develop will be based on. Whether it's quitting smoking, reaching a certain weight with your weight loss plan or advancing your career, selecting a definite goal is a major step toward achieving the change you want in your life.
By this point you will have created a realistic starting point and set a specific goal that you want to reach. The next thing that you have to do is set intermediate goals that you can use to monitor your progress. Remember to use concrete milestones as your goals so that you'll know that you've achieved them regardless of interference. Don't say that your intermediate goal is to lose five pounds; set a specific weight you want to reach. Don't say that you want to smoke less; set a specific number of cigarettes you want to cut back to. Set as many milestones as you need to let you work toward your final goal at a steady pace, making sure that none of the milestones require a large leap in comparison to other milestones so that you don't get discouraged.
Now that you've got your goals mapped out, the last bit of planning that you have to do is to figure out exactly how you're going to work toward your minor and major goals. Again, be specific; decide on specific diet changes and exercise programs if you're trying to lose weight, or ways to separate smoking from the activities you usually associate with a smoke break. If you're trying to advance your career, create plans for increasing your productivity or searching for a better job. Be specific, be reasonable and be ready to take action.
When you start working toward your goals, keep yourself motivated. Review your progress regularly to remind yourself of what your final goal is and to see how far you've come. Find a way to celebrate each milestone that doesn't interfere with your overall goal; you don't want to indulge and set yourself back, after all. It may seem difficult at first to stay motivated, but as you reach each milestone you'll realize that your final goal is that much closer and that it seems much more achievable than when you first started. Each step along the way is one step closer to becoming the you that you really want to be.

Manifest Prosperity in Today's Economy

Can we really manifest prosperity in today's economy? After all, when you "tune in" to watch the news, what you hear can very easily leave you feeling hopeless, not hopeful!
YES, we absolutely can manifest prosperity in any economy and this is how to do it.
It's all about your focus, how you feel and your intent....

YOUR MINDSET.
Centering your attention
We want to be "tuned into" what we are focused on manifesting, keeping a positive attitude (feeling good always) and a firm belief that our desire will come to fruition. This is our key to manifesting anything!
As we are changing our thoughts and our mental vision, we are changing our reality. Thought is energy and thoughts change the balance of energy around us, and that brings changes into our lives.
Personally, I limit the amount of time that I listen to the news each day because I know that when I place my focus on what I'm hearing, I have now made a shift in my mindset which means that my focus is off of what I want to be "tuned into". I do not want to delay what I am seeking to manifest by shifting my focus on anything else.
To attract into your life what you are requesting does take focus and action. Law of Attraction is like a magnet in that what you send out into the Universe is attracted back to you. Your feelings begin to resonate with the Universe.

Feeling good
As we hold onto a vibration of feeling good, we become brighter and lighter and people will feel it! You feel it and it feels great!!
These two revelations changed my world: How you feel is what you attract and the Universe is full of abundance..... not lack!
The Universe is constantly changing, evolving and it is NOT stagnant.... This is GREAT news! Your situation at this very moment is just that.... it's for the moment and YOU have the POWER to change it.... Remember: abundance, abundance, abundance. The Universe desires for each one of us to have abundance in EVERY area of our lives: Money, health, wealth, happiness, love..... EVERYTHING

Prosperity during adversity
I encourage you to read Napoleon Hill's book: Think and Grow Rich. This book was written in 1937 and is one of the best-selling books of all time. Napoleon Hill said: "What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve."
This book is proof that in any economy, you can be prosperous as it was written during the great depression. Napoleon Hill and many others that you will read about in his book believed in Law of Attraction. Also proof that when you stay focused on what you desire, you can achieve it. The mind is very powerful!

My desire for you is that you receive the very best that is yours by Divine design! You deserve the best and the Universe is just waiting for you to manifest all that you have ever wanted. So, begin telling the story of how you want your life to be with continual affirmations; making room for all the abundance that is yours.

Alice Hocker invites you to join in and share your thoughts at http://abundantlivingeveryday.com/
Living life in abundance feels so very good. You can live this life everyday! My desire is that you acquire the "super-conscious level" of living because it will change everything in your life... You will see EVERYTHING in a new and refreshing way!
With that said, add your comments... Let's get this party started!!! Your comments will be the music we need to dance to.... http://abundantlivingeveryday.com/
I look forward to hearing from you!

Why Skeletons in the Closet Cannot Keep You From Success

Closets, and what you keep in them, are close to the hearts of psychotherapists, human resources professionals, university and school teachers, the Criminal Records Bureau, anti-terrorist agencies, the police, the Secret Service, religious professionals, and novelists everywhere - or they should be. I would go so far as to say that what we keep locked up in our closets makes us most interesting and most complex as human beings. It can also destroy lives - ours, and the lives of those around us. But does it keep us from success? And when should that door be pried open and those bones come clattering out?
For most of us those skeletons consist of mistakes we have made, wrong decisions, failures, lies and deceptions, personal tragedies, anything we don't want to face as we get on with our lives.
I would argue that those kinds of skeletons in our closets need to be treated very delicately and sensitively. There is a cliche phrase most of us are familiar with: "what you don't know won't hurt you." But this is only partially true. In some cases I believe those skeletons should be kept firmly in place. The consequences of bringing them to light could be devastating, in several people's lives, and could have disastrous repercussions in the future. In other cases it's appropriate for them to be hauled out of storage and put on public display - before they dissolve into dust. It is the novelist's task, of course, to know about what's in the closet, and to choose what's going to happen to it. In reality, those professionals I have mentioned above base their careers upon the answer to the question at the end of my first paragraph.
The question of skeletons and success is dependent upon whether "success" requires total honesty. Looking at the world around us, I would say no it doesn't. In fact often enough it's a major disadvantage. Nevertheless, how long can such success last?
It can certainly go a long way. But the question remains. Consider this truth voiced by a character in Susan Howatch's novel "The Heartbreaker": "Then I thought how mysterous people were and how little anyone knew about what really went on in other people's lives."
This is a fact we all have to live with. And the question of whether our skeletons can keep us from success must be seen in that light.

Life Lesson at Play

"Oh no! What is the matter?" I cry as my oldest daughter V runs towards me with tears in her eyes. This is probably the 3rd time or so that this has happened today.
I pick up my wonderful big oldest who normally is not given to crying that much and try to find out again what the matter is. It turns out that my normally social bunny who finds a friend everywhere she goes is being ignored by a BOY!!! How dare he? HOW DARE HE? What is a mother to do? Go over and attack or use this as an opportunity to teach a life lesson? Life lesson, it is!
In life, there are times when people are nasty - I am sure we have all experienced this at some point in our lives. Someone we work with, we go to college with or an acquaintance of some sort decides for whatever reason to make our life pretty difficult. Even we as adults may sometimes wish we could run and cry. So how can V deal with this?
Sometimes it is best just to walk away - Now in this situation, V had quite a few other children who could potentially become allies so why bother messing with the one person who was making her life difficult? As adults, we too sometimes find ourselves in hateful relationships and particularly if you are a woman, you take it upon yourself to try and fix the other person. We can make excuses for the other person and stick around hoping that things will improve or they will see the error of their ways. But sometimes it really is best just to walk away! There is so much of life to be experienced, so many other people to relate to, so why choose to stay with someone who is emotionally or physically abusing you? Yes, at times there is room to be available to help if the other person actually wants to be helped but if we are the only one pushing for change, then it is definitely time to walk away. Self-deception is unfortunately rife amongst women. We are nurturers and our first inclination is to save everyone. However, for our own personal growth, sometimes it is best to walk away.
Life is full of choices - Life, though difficult at times, is full of good options, full of abundance. We sometimes have to look hard to see this abundance but that does not make it any less true. Today, there was an abundance of possible playmates for V but she was choosing to stick with the one person causing aggravation. In life, sometimes, because we are so used to the devil we know, we stick with it though we long for things to be better. It is up to us to step away from our comfort zone and choose a different life. If we keep doing the same things, then we keep getting the same things!
Value self - The truth is that all of us are unique and priceless. For that reason alone, we do not have to put up with people being nasty to us. We need to know without a shadow of a doubt, what we are worth and only allow things or people into our lives that enhance that. This, I know, is easier said than done as I know I have tendencies to forget just how amazing I am but the moment I remember, It is definitely time to take stock of relationships, career and anything that affects me and get rid of the fat!
Enough life lessons for a four year old, I think! How much of that did she understand, I wonder?
Choosing to live your life by your own choice is the greatest freedom you will ever have.
