Brain Entrainment Review - The Unexplainable Store

There's no doubt about it - after years of shopping around for brain entrainment products, The Unexplainable Store has revealed itself to be one of the prime sources of a high quality isochronic, monaural, and binaural beats download. This brain entrainment review will lay out all the reasons why I believe this is so.

With a minimal amount of knowledge on brain entrainment theory, it is relatively simple for companies to market their own products within the field. But what sets The Unexplainable Store apart from many others is the sparkling production quality which they utilise in their recordings. It's like the crystalline, atmospheric wanderings of Brian Eno and Phil Thornton, as opposed to the roughly produced, robot-like recording of a basement dwelling techno band with no budget.

Having no production skills myself, I set upon the task of creating my own binaural beats, and while I found it easy to create the illusory 'third beat' through the process of 'frequencial differentiation', and the utilisation of Oster's chart of 'carrier' frequencies, I still found it hard to make the final product presentable in terms of sound quality. It does the job to a certain extent, but it sounds muddy and undefined, like the aforementioned techno band.

The audio-wizards from the Unexplainable Store however, cut out the unnecessary noise which hogs the frequency spectrum, and 'bottle-neck' the tone, increasing the effectiveness of the 'frequency following response' (the process by which the brain syncs itself to the beat). This is especially important when combining many layers of sound around the beat, such as atmospheric synthesisers, chimes, chants, bells, hypnotic voice-inductions, scripts etc. Each element has its own 'space' within the audio spectrum, thus increasing levels of immersion and receptivity to the beat.

Considering their high production standards, the prices are very reasonable, and with each product, they provide instructions on how to best utilise the MP3. If you are unfamiliar with entrainment, you can even try out their free samples; available in three different sessions: binaural, monaural and isochronic.

There are many sessions to choose from, and these are helpfully divided into categories. These include therapy, brain function, self improvement and spiritual development. This product diversity ensures that no-matter your psychological make-up, you are bound to find something which can benefit you.

My first experience with entrainment was with the isochronic-tone version of the 'Sleep Package'. This did wonders in helping me overcome my nightly bouts of insomnia. Over time, my brain would come to 'anchor' the memory of the experience, eliminating the need for the tones. I haven't had any trouble since, but the MP3s still come in handy for afternoon naps and regenerative sleep.
Another product I found helpful was the study-aid. Operating in a frequency of Theta (approximately 7hz per second), this mp3 improves focus, and assists you in retaining large amounts of information. If you are a student, you are probably aware of the inertia which takes hold when trying to motivate yourself to study. Well not only does the study aid make the task bearable, it also makes it enjoyable.

While brain entrainment is still in its infancy in terms of commercial acceptance, it has, since 2008, experienced a dramatic increase in popularity amongst new age-circles and self-help enthusiasts on the internet. One of the organisations at the heart of this shift has been The Unexplainable Store. If brain entrainment peaks your interest, this should be your first stop.

My Approach to Learning Tasks

Different learners have different needs; they differ from, example, in their learning goals, their prior knowledge, their learning styles, and their cognitive abilities. Since I have never dismantled a gearbox before, research is a must. Browsing through the internet will be helpful to find user manuals or any information such as video tutorials. Further information can also be gained from a professional mechanic. Theorizing is important because it gives solution to questions. With the aid of the theory, one can put theory to practise, by gathering all information together and apply it to dismantle the gearbox. Experimenting and experiencing, begins.

While experiencing, reflection and revising the information can be essential to complete the new task. This is how, I would proceed to learn a new task. Next time, after this first trial, I may have a simpler and a less time consuming method to redo this task. Kolb's learning theory sets out four distinct learning styles, which are based on a four stage learning cycle. In this respect Kolb's model is particularly elegant, since it offers both a way to understand individual people's different learning cycles and also an explanation of a cycle learning which applies to all of us. The principle of Kolb's learning cycle consists of the following four stages of learning.
Assimilating is a combination of Abstract Conceptualization and Reflective Observation.

- means that people first like to think and watch.
Diverging is a combination of Concrete Experience and Reflective Observation.
- means that people first like to feel and watch.
Converging is a combination of Abstract Conceptualization and Active Experimentation.
- means that people first like to do that particular thing and then think about it.
Accommodating is a combination of Concrete Experience and Active Experimentation.
- means that people first like to do that particular thing and then to feel.

I prefer thinking than to act. Reading with demonstrations if possible, is preferable for learning. I respect the knowledge of experts. In my opinion, listening to logical and thoughtful conversation is a good way to learn. Carrying out plans and participating in new and challenging experiences with others, is delectable. Furthermore, learning model styles do exist such as; Felder-Silverman learning style, Honey and Mumford's Model and Anthony Gregorc's Model. These models are similar and based on each other.

Engineering failure is considered as an engineering disaster. For example collapse of bridges, rail accidents, airplanes and so on. Primary causes behind this, are human factors, design flaws, material flaws, extreme conditions or environments and combination of these reasons. From these incidents, engineers need to first investigate the causing factors behind the incident and then learn from them. The following procedures, such as identification and response, reporting, investigation, identifying casual structure, making recommendations, communicating and recalling incident learning, and implementing corrective actions, should be made.Part of the learning process is to recall previous incidents and to visualize possible failure modes that have not yet occurred to prevent engineering failure.

3 Steps to Start Living

Every time you ever have a problem, look inside yourself. What's really bothering you, what is really on your mind?
Through years of experience I've learned that the overall problem that is stunting you from your long term growth and happiness is often from your past. Find out what that certain little something is, because chances are its not so little. Once you have figured out exactly what it is that is blocking you from your future success, figure out ways to overcome it.
#1 Feeling Guilt- If you feel guilty of something from your past, forgive yourself. This won't be easy, but you have to confront the person in your life that you are sorry to. Tell them why you feel guilt, why you did what it is your feeling guilty for, and why exactly your sorry for it. Once you talk about the underlying pains from your past, you then can begin to forgive yourself and start anew. This is especially hard task to undertake for some individuals because they are afraid of rejection. More often then not they feel that the person they've wronged in their life isn't going to forgive them, this usually isn't the case. Even so, those who do have to deal with the rejection aspect of it shouldn't be hurt by the circumstance. At that point, you've done all that you could do to get it off your chest and can begin to forgive yourself which is the most important part.
#2 Someone Wronged You- If it is someone that has hurt you in the past, forgive them because they are human too and everyone makes mistakes. Remember to love everyone as you love yourself, because if you don't there will inevitably be someone hurt just as you were.
#3 Changing Your World- The negative cycle ends with you. You may believe that your insignificant in the scheme of things but just imagine what you can do with something as simple as just one smile. It seems small and insignificant, but putting out just that little bit of positivity into someones day, even a stranger, can make their whole day brighter. Bright enough for them to effect someone else's day with, say, a small gesture. When you put out positivity, big or small, it spirals onward. So go ahead. Try it out. I guarantee you won't be sorry you did. Things will start to look up in a whole new way, you'll feel better moods and see things about your life and yourself that you hadn't before. Discover yourself in a whole new way and start living the life you've always dreamed of.

Becoming the You That You Always Wanted to Be

Most people have at least something about themselves that they wish they could change. It can be something small or something major, encompassing everything from eliminating personality quirks and building self-confidence to losing weight or developing a new outlook on life. Even small changes can seem like major commitments if you aren't prepared to make a change, however. If you really want to bring about a change in your life and become the person that you really want to be then taking that first step may very well be the hardest part of the process.
To make a change in your life the first thing that you must do is figure out exactly what sort of a change needs to be made. This can involve major introspection to determine exactly what the cause of the problem is and may require you to admit flaws that you aren't entirely comfortable with addressing. Only by recognizing the true core of the problem can you begin to work on a solution to it. Once you've identified exactly what needs to change in your life, decide exactly what you want the end result of the change to be. This will be the goal that you're working toward and is what every intermediate step you develop will be based on. Whether it's quitting smoking, reaching a certain weight with your weight loss plan or advancing your career, selecting a definite goal is a major step toward achieving the change you want in your life.
By this point you will have created a realistic starting point and set a specific goal that you want to reach. The next thing that you have to do is set intermediate goals that you can use to monitor your progress. Remember to use concrete milestones as your goals so that you'll know that you've achieved them regardless of interference. Don't say that your intermediate goal is to lose five pounds; set a specific weight you want to reach. Don't say that you want to smoke less; set a specific number of cigarettes you want to cut back to. Set as many milestones as you need to let you work toward your final goal at a steady pace, making sure that none of the milestones require a large leap in comparison to other milestones so that you don't get discouraged.
Now that you've got your goals mapped out, the last bit of planning that you have to do is to figure out exactly how you're going to work toward your minor and major goals. Again, be specific; decide on specific diet changes and exercise programs if you're trying to lose weight, or ways to separate smoking from the activities you usually associate with a smoke break. If you're trying to advance your career, create plans for increasing your productivity or searching for a better job. Be specific, be reasonable and be ready to take action.
When you start working toward your goals, keep yourself motivated. Review your progress regularly to remind yourself of what your final goal is and to see how far you've come. Find a way to celebrate each milestone that doesn't interfere with your overall goal; you don't want to indulge and set yourself back, after all. It may seem difficult at first to stay motivated, but as you reach each milestone you'll realize that your final goal is that much closer and that it seems much more achievable than when you first started. Each step along the way is one step closer to becoming the you that you really want to be.
